Subject: Live TV
1950s television recorded live with all gaffes intact!

I love that the private eye is allowed to bring a matter before the Court and how he makes the criminal spill the beans - not under oath mind you.

Interesting to see product placement the way it used to be.

Pretty good, fun to watch, entertaining, nice commercials, etc etc etc etc etc and so on and so on.

A bit corny perhaps, but not bad at all.

Subject: William Gargan Excellent as "Martin Kane, Private Eye"
I have viewed this episode twice within the last few months. William Gargan does well in the role of "Martin Kane." The sad thing about the program is Gargan and other actors going into the tobacco store as part of the commercials. William Gargan by 1958 had lung cancer and had his larynx removed. He did so well in radio as shown by being the lead actor in "Barrie Craig, Confidential Investigator," from 1951-1955.

Subject: Hilarious Intro!
I'm waiting for the episode where Gargan picks up a cute guy in the tobacco shop by asking him back to his place to "smoke some Tweed"
